“The signature hole at Diss Golf Club and one which can easily ruin your card! This is the longest par four from the White tees and is statistically the hardest hole on the course. The ladies play this hole as a par five. It’s a semi-blind tee shot, which needs to be aimed at the marker post in the fairway. A tee shot over 230 yards will then allow you a chance to reach the green with your second shot. Longer hitters should be careful not to hit it much further than 260 yards off the tee, to avoid running out of fairway and reaching a steep drop, running into a huge dip of rough and mounding. The green is small and very tough to hit in regulation, with run off areas all around it. A par here will definitely be gaining you at least one shot from other players.”
